Day Two – 2 helpful things

I did two things last night that helped.

1. I told myself – “this night will end whether I drink or not.” It did end & I did not choose to drink.

2. When I woke up in the night my mind was racing. I used a tapping technique my therapist suggested to calm thoughts. I alternately squeezed my earlobes about 40 times. Wham – I fell back to sleep immediately.

Today I am getting takeout for lunch as my reward!
